Dear Girl, I can bet my ass that at least once a guy has made you feel pathetic. Option A: he didn`t call/text when he said he`d do so,which led to you calling/texting him,And that,let`s face it, felt humiliating,especially if he didn`t answer.Option B: he underminded you, which led to you doing something stupid you wouldn`t have done otherwise,and that just to get his attention. Of course we could go on listing options and the letters of the alphabet probably won`t be enough.The point here is to try and figure out whether you`ve had enough of the "pathetic"-feeling. Now I`m not saying cut him off,pretend like he doesn`t exist. We all know that`s too damn hard. And everytime you think about giving up,you get a hunch that this one might just turn out right and you are "obliged" to give that guy another chance,regardless of the fact that he hasn`t even asked for it.And that would be just one more example of the ways in which you humiliate yourself in an attempt to find love, your soulmate or whatever it is that you want out of that one person. What I`m saying is that first you need to learn to be selfish and even love yourself a bit more than anybody else and that is so you would be able to tell whether you`ve had enough or you could spend some more time playing "Hunter and prey". You just have to spend a while with nobody on your mind, even though waiting on texts or daydreaming about someone sure makes your day. As clichéd as it may sound,go out and have fun with friends. And here`s something you should do at least once during your "I love me"-vacation: guy comes up to you,starts talking, turn to him and say: "Motherf*cker,can`t you see we`re having a girls`night?!"(for further advice google Jenna Marbles). I can guarantee you are gonna enjoy yourself for a while. So when you`ve learned how to be selfish, feel free to fall for anyone. And if the selfish you that knows how to live a life without depending on someone`s affection, simply doesn`t want to go on without this anyone, then f*ck it - yes, it`s worth the humiliation!
